It won the favor of the owner and design masters for its excellent performance, artistic expression, and durability and weather resistance far exceeding other materials, and was successfully applied to this project.

The building's exterior design is unique, and the facade is like lace weaving. It is actually prefabricated from Loucheng ultra-high performance concrete. This concrete not only has a strength of up to 200MPa and excellent fluidity, but can also be prefabricated into a flat, thin lace mesh structure. The sun penetrates these mesh gaps, casting rippling shadows, which blend harmoniously with the blue lake, sky and surrounding environment, making the concert hall present ever-changing tones as the weather changes.

It was selected as the "World's Best Public Library" in 2013 by the authoritative American design magazine "Interior Design", beating the Stapleton Branch of the New York Library, the Jaime García Terrés Memorial Library in Mexico and the Cornwell Community Library in Canada; it won the 2013 Taiwan Interior Design Award TID Award; the 2011 Shanghai International Interior Design Festival Gold Trophy, etc. The technical challenges brought by the geometric shape of the library's facade were realized through Loucheng ultra-high performance concrete panels, which demonstrated its excellent performance in durability, surface quality, ultra-thin plate thickness, casting flexibility and ductility.

Spring City 66 is the ninth project invested by Hang Lung Group in mainland China and the second largest urban complex project in Southwest China.
